The largest part of the UX strategy is defining the structure of the website and app. I began with a small sitemap, a single homepage for the marketing website, then the app with the internal pages accessible only by logging in.

In addition, I create user journeys for specific actions, to make sure all criteria is covered and user goals are being met.

Content flows is something that I have found crucial to creating a successful story for each page on a marketing site. And I adapted it to work with web apps as well.

Once I had mapped out what sections I wanted within the marketing site and app, I began crafting some words then taking that into design.

The fun begins. Part of the brand story, I explored a couple of ideas that took me into a 3D environment. I came up with the idea of a scene with multiples buildings and crossroads, and instead of cars going from one place to another, it would an invoice. With the added car-like animation added to each invoice as they hit the traffic lights, it really brings it to life.

I decided to do the marketing site and app as separate builds. However, both are built in React / Next.js.

The app however, I built it twice. First version using Firebase, then I decided to refresh the UI and rebuild it using Supabase. The only for this was to learn a little backend and also see which would be more comfortable to continue with.
